Medical suction is an essential part of the procedure followed in a healthcare establishment and it is imperative that reliable, accurate & safe suction devices are in the hands of caregivers.

Four models of suction devices are manufactured to provide a controllable suction from a piped vacuum supply system, enhancing safety requirement for applications inwards, operating theaters, maternity units, dental departments, pathology laboratories, laboratories, mortuary and postmortem rooms.

  1.  Aastha Basic – Controllable Vacuum 0 to 600 mmHg.
  2. Aastha Adult – Controllable Vacuum 0 to 300 mmHg (with vacuum trap & bacterial filter)
  3. Aastha Baby – Controllable Vacuum 0 to 100 mmHg (with vacuum trap & bacterial filter)
  4. Necessita (Theater suction trolley) – Controllable Vacuum 0 to 600 mmHg (with vacuum trap & bacterial filter)

Vacuum Regulators are supplied with compatible probe/connectors to match American, British, and DIN outlets, and outlets of other different standards are optional.

Necessita (Theater Suction trolley) is connected through a remote connection option to the vacuum pipeline network. The selector switch provided to choose the jar for filling and suction procedure is continued uninterrupted by switching the selector switch to stand by collection jar. (Refer to separate brochure)

A step-less vacuum regulator with unmatched accuracy (Gauge indicator counterclockwise movement) is the hallmark of the Aastha suction devices. Vacuum gauge designed to provide visibility in a low light environment. All gauges are individually tested for accuracy and backed by calibration certificates which is provided to customers on demand.

Features

  • Designed for the centralized vacuum system.
  • Compact & lightweight vacuum regulator.
  • Step-less safe control of suction therapy.
  • Four models to cover all suction procedures.
  • Replaceable bacterial filter in series.
  • Three-stage system protection from contamination.
  • Compatible to most commonly used probes/connectors.
  • Mountable directly on a terminal unit or on a rail system.
  • Autoclavable collection jar with overflow cut-off protection.

Safe practice recommendations -

  1. Caution: Occlude to set for safety.
  2. The Vacuum Trap with Bacterial filter in series, isolate the Vacuum system & pipeline network to keep down contamination and cross infection rates of patients.
  3. The cap of the collection jar is provided with the overflow safety trap to block the fluid from entering into the tubing of the circuit.
